What needle do you use for laminated cotton?

For laminated cottons, you want to use a larger needle to penetrate this substrate's added thickness. We recommend a Universal needle in a size 12 or 14. These have sharp points that will easily penetrate the laminate coating.

This ideal water-resistant fabric is a great option for totes, raincoats, baby bibs, playmats and more.
