Painting on Fabric
We carry Shiva Artist’s PaintStiks in a variety of colours, instruction books, rubbing plates and other accessories to get you started in this interesting artform.
Rubbing Plates
Rubbing plates are sets of textured plates that can be used to transfer designs to your fabric. The “Leaves” rubbing plates (shown to the right) are just one of many available designs. Let your imagination go wild and see what effects you can produce!
The plates are glossy, making the details hard to see in a photo. Click on the image on the left, then you should be able to see the pattern details in the larger photo.
Hot Fix Stensils
Hot fix stensils are another method of adding designs and creativity to your projects. There are many different stensil patterns in the store.
Be sure to come into the store to see all that we have in our embellishment section. There is much more than can be displayed here. You can ask the staff about the possibilities and look at the samples to give you ideas.
